This week the state of Alaska wanted to know if our school was in compliance with all of our vaccinations. I think that this task would have been pretty easy for a secretary or perhaps a parent that knows anything about vaccinations, pretty much everybody is more qualified to do this than me, whatever, இ’ம லேஅது டீச்சர் சோ இட்’ச மி சோப். Anyways, it took forever but I had this thought as I was walking home late Sunday night after finishing it: Chickenpox, what a bitch that must have been. I am outraged when one of my students is absent for even one day. I can’t imagine what it must have been like to have students absent for weeks. THANKFULLY all of my students have their chickenpox vaccination. Thank you modern medicine.

Quote of the Week:

Interaction between a mother and daughter in the bathroom

“Are there any paper towels?”

“Of course not, Miss Moody is tree-hugger.”

For the record: There were paper towels in the bathroom AND I’m not the person in charge of filling them.

PIC: Can you guess who in this picture is in middle school? Clue: it's the two that are NOT smiling or flashing their peace signs.

  1. Other than the middle schoolers the best part of that picture is definitely the kid in front of you.

  2. I also love the student with the three quarter lengthed tee in a picture full of snow and jackets. Well done tough girl!
